Rajinikanth’s latest film, Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel, earned Rs 30 crore on its opening day. This marks the second-biggest opening for a Tamil film. While the Tamil and Telugu versions performed well, the Hindi version fell short despite featuring Amitabh Bachchan. The film is expected to hold strong in the South but faces competition in Hindi markets.
