Shares of Tata Group companies surged on Thursday led by Tata Chemicals and Tata Teleservices. Ratan Tata, the Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, who played a pivotal role in transforming the group into a global conglomerate passed away late on Wednesday at the age of 86.
