The BSE Sensex increased by 241.68 points to reach 81,801.22, while the NSE Nifty gained 78.4 points to hit 25,014.80. Top performers included Power Grid and Bharti Airtel; however, Bajaj Finserv and Mahindra & Mahindra lagged.
