Recently the Municipal Museum of Rovereto in cooperation with the Natural Science Museum Bolzano and theUniversity of Innsbruckhad the opportunity to research the topic in detail thanks to a Euregio call for tenders.
In the conference “Railway flora of the Brenner routeOn Friday April 22 at 6 p.m. at the Museum of Natural Sciences of South Tyrol, the most special species found along the axis of the Brenner Pass, both in Trentino-Alto Adige and in the province of Verona, will be illustrated.
Alessio Bertolli and Giulia Tomasi They will also talk about how some of these species will disappear as parts of train stations are abandoned, leaving room for city expansion.
Bertolli and Tomasi work at the Botany section of the Rovereto Civic Museum Foundation, where they mainly deal with the flora of the provinces of Trento and Verona.
