Odisha government announces portfolios for cabinet; CM Majhi retains home ministry

NEW DELHI: The cabinet ministers of the Odisha government were allocated portfolios on Saturday by governor Raghubar Das on advice of CM Mohan Charan Majhi.
According to the document released, Majhi has kept home ministry along with general administration and public grievance, information and public relations and water resources with himself.

Deputy CM Kanak Vardhan Singh has been allocated agriculture and farmers empowerment and energy departments.

Meanwhile, deputy CM Pravati Parida has been alloted women and child development, mission shakti, and tourism ministries.
Health and family welfare along with parliamentary ministries has been allotted to Dr Mukesh Mahaling along with electronics and information technology.
Prominent BJP leader Suresh Pujari was given charge of revenue and disaster management.
