On June 13th, the National Testing Agency (NTA) informed the Supreme Court that it would cancel the scorecards of 1,563 NEET-UG 2024 candidates who received grace marks and offer them the option to reappear for the exam on June 23rd. This decision follows concerns over the allocation of compensatory marks due to shortened exam times. The Supreme Court emphasized it would not halt NEET-UG 2024 counseling, setting further hearings for July 8th to address ongoing petitions challenging the exam’s integrity and procedural fairness.
