MET Counselling 2024: The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has announced the seat allotment result for round 1 of MET 2024 on June 13, 2024. The results are available on the official website, manipal.edu. Candidates can log in to the candidate portal to check their seat allotment status.
The MET 2024 counselling registration for round 1 concluded on June 12, 2024.Only candidates who qualified in the Manipal Entrance Test are eligible to participate in the counselling process. The MET 2024 counselling and seat allotment schedule is outlined below, with the registration and choice filling starting on June 7, 2024. The MET results for phases 1 and 2 were declared on April 20, 2024, and May 23, 2024, respectively.

Eligibility Criteria for MET Counselling 2024
To participate in the MET 2024 counselling, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
• Must have an MET 2024 rank.
• Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects.
• Must have a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Mathematics, and one optional subject.
MET 2024 Counselling and Seat Allotment Process

Step 1: Registration
Candidates must first register for MET counselling on the official website. All required details must be entered accurately during registration.
Step 2: Online Choice Filling/Modification
Candidates must log in using their application number, OTBS password, and captcha code to select their preferred choices of campus and courses. Choices can be modified as needed.
Step 3: Document Upload
Candidates must upload the following documents online:
• Transfer Certificate
• MET Hall Ticket
• Aadhaar Card (Candidate’s Original)
• PAN Card of the parents (Original)
• Class 10 Mark Sheet (For Date of Birth Proof)
• Class 12 Mark Sheet
• Conduct Certificate
• Candidate’s 2 Recent Passport Size Photographs
• Authorization Letter (if a representative is attending on behalf of the candidate)
• JEE Mains 2024 January scorecard / SAT score / any state CET marks
Step 4: Seat Allotment
Seats are allotted based on candidates’ ranks on the merit list. Candidates can check their seat allotment status by logging in to the candidate portal. Those who wish to upgrade must report to the allotted institute and select the option for the next round. Candidates not allotted a seat in previous rounds are automatically considered for the next round.
Step 5: Reporting to the Allotted Institute
Candidates must visit the allotted institute to complete the admission process. They need to carry the provisional MET seat allotment letter and necessary documents for verification.
Intra-Institute Sliding
Candidates who have been allocated a seat in any institute can participate in intra-institute sliding to modify their allotted branches. This requires fresh registration within the institute.
MET 2024 Spot Round Counselling
MAHE will conduct spot round counselling for vacant seats after the regular rounds. Interested candidates must register online and report to the MET counselling venue as per the schedule.
MET 2024 Counselling Fees
Candidates must pay a Rs. 10,000 counselling fee during registration, which serves as a waitlist deposit. Upon seat allotment and fee payment, this deposit becomes a refundable caution deposit. If no seat is allotted, the deposit is refunded within a month after all counselling rounds.
