BSP chief Mayawati criticized Congress and SP for opposing SC/ST promotion quota legislation during UPA rule. She supported the Centre’s ‘one nation-one election’ bills, urging other parties to follow suit. Mayawati also demanded inclusion of SC/ST/OBC reservations in the Ninth Schedule for protection and accused BJP of an anti-reservation stance.
