Singer Kevin Jonas, known for his work with the Jonas Brothers and solo ventures, recently used his social media platform to share a personal health battle. Jonas revealed he underwent surgery to remove a malignant mole near his hairline, bringing awareness to the importance of skin cancer detection and treatment. This act of transparency sheds light on a serious health concern and highlights the importance of regular checkups.
He announced his treatment through a post on his official account and also on The Jonas Brothers’ Instagram account.
Jonas Brothers’ found a cancerous mole near his hairline on his forehead, which was diagnosed as skin cancer. He then shared details about his health and encouraged others to prioritize their well-being.
Kevin shared a video on Instagram on Tuesday, June 11, discussing his discovery of skin cancer and the subsequent treatment he underwent through surgery. He started the video by, “So today I am getting a basal cell carcinoma removed from my head,” he said.

“Yes, that is an actual little skin cancer guy that started to grow, and now I have to get surgery to remove it.”
The video was captioned, “friendly reminder to get your moles checked,” then, the singer posted a photo after his cancer surgery, showing gauze tape on his forehead where the surgery scar was concealed, along with an emoji. As he left the hospital and returned home, he encouraged people to “get those moles checked.”

Previously, Nick Jonas also updated his fans about his health, revealing that he had caught the flu, which resulted in the delay of the upcoming tour until August.
