Former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev, who led India to victory in the 1983 Cricket World Cup, has been appointed President of the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI). At 65, Dev transitions from cricket to a leadership role in golf, succeeding H R Srinivasan. Known for his stellar cricket career and passion for golf, Dev has been involved with PGTI as Vice President. He expressed his honour and commitment to the role, aiming to promote golf in India and strengthen ties with top golfers.
