Quant Mutual Fund, facing scrutiny for alleged front-running, reported investor withdrawals of $168 million (about Rs 1,400 crore) over three days this week, amounting to 1.5% of its assets. Founder and CEO Sandeep Tandon assured investors in a video call that operations remain normal despite regulatory inquiries. The Mumbai-based firm, known for rapid growth, manages Rs 93,000 crore in assets as of June 2024, with substantial liquidity. Tandon emphasized that regulatory engagements are routine in the industry, noting their compliance and unchanged investment strategy focused on delivering strong risk-adjusted returns.
