Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced the creation of three AI Centres of Excellence (CoEs) in New Delhi, focusing on Healthcare, Agriculture, and Sustainable Cities. With a budget of ₹990 crore over five years, these CoEs aim to enhance India’s global standing in AI research and innovation. Led by premier institutions, they will promote interdisciplinary collaboration and boost the startup ecosystem, ultimately benefiting communities nationwide.
