LED

LED projectors are usually the small ones, for those looking for portability. From a technical point of view this involves some small sacrifices compared to other technologies, in fact they are generally a little less brilliant. LCD

From a resolution point of view, our recommendation is to orient yourself at least to a video projector that is capable of projecting high definition images at 1080p. This is because we are already largely immersed in 4K and the future will be 8K. Don’t worry, because with a 1080p model you can easily get great satisfactions.

The only considerations you need to make are the screen size you want to achieve and the expected viewing distance. 1080p resolution is good for a screen of about two meters at a distance of about 3 meters. Of course, if your budget allows, higher resolutions are always recommended. Another important note is the use you will make of it. If you usually buy physical copies of your favorite movies, the choice should be a 4K model, so as to natively exploit the full visual power of the format!
