Fardeen Khan’s ‘special’ scene from Heeramandi was deleted from the final cut!

After a hiatus of over a decade, Fardeen Khan returned to face the camera with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’. The actor had short screentime in the epic saga, but made an impact to the narrative.
Recently the actor was asked about his limited act in ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’, to which Fardeen Khan responded that he preferred leaving the audience wanting more.He further told Pinkvilla about being initially informed about having 8-10 scenes but expressed regret over one scene not making the final cut, describing it as a special moment he particularly enjoyed filming. In ‘Heeramandi’, Fardeen essayed the role of Nawab Wali Bin Zayed-Al Mohammed. This series also starred Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Segal Mehta and Taha Shah Badussha.
Recently, the actor also opened up about facing negativity for his weight gain in 2016. However, since then, he has worked immensely on his physical transformation. Speaking about the same, Fardeen had previously told PTI, “At the time, I was overweight. There were certain lifestyle choices I made that definitely were working in my favour. So, I made some serious changes and that started off my journey. I started training in June of 2020, I have a picture from the first day of training. In those six to eight months, I lost about 18 or 19 kg.”
Post ‘Heeramandi’, Fardeen is preparing for his role in Visfot, directed by Kookie Gulati. He will be seen alongside Sheeba Chaddha, Riteish Deshmukh, and Priya Bapat in the film.
