Losing a parent is an incredibly challenging and emotional experience, and it often leaves a profound impact on one’s life. Fardeen Khan, who recently returned to the screen with his role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’, has faced this difficult reality. His father, Feroz Khan, was not only a veteran actor but also a significant figure in his life, and his passing undoubtedly created a void.
Talking to Pinkvilla, Fardeen Khan spoke candidly about how much he misses his late father, Feroz Khan. He remembered his own childhood, admitting that he was not very expressive about his emotions during those years. However, becoming a father himself has led him to change.
When asked if he misses his late father, Feroz Khan, Fardeen Khan paused and said that nothing can fill the void left by a parent. He feels deeply connected to his father, recognizing that he is a part of him. Naturally, he misses him a lot.
When asked if Feroz Khan was an expressive father, Fardeen Khan laughed and said, “No, not at all.” He shared that his father would tell everyone else how much he loved him but rarely expressed it directly to him. Maybe in later years he became more expressive, but he was generally very reserved. He was protective of his family but not very expressive. Fardeen added that his mother made up for it, and he has a beautiful relationship with her.

On the work front, Fardeen Khan amazed everyone with his remarkable physical transformation. He captivated audiences in ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ with his portrayal of a nawab. Next, he will star in ‘Khel Khel Mein’ alongside a stellar cast including Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, Pragya Jaiswal, and Vaani Kapoor.
