Berhampur University in Odisha has penalized 17 post-graduate students for allegedly ragging their juniors. Following an anti-ragging committee investigation, four students were evicted from their hostel, and 13 others were fined ₹1,000 each. The action was taken after a complaint was forwarded by the UGC, with the university also issuing warnings to prevent future incidents.
