The singer also revealed that he had to not only cut the set short but also stop the show midway due to a dispute between the production house and local promoters.
Taking to his Instagram handle, the singer issued a statement that read, “Dallas, I’m so heartbroken and bummed about what happened today. You guys are incredible and deserve better. I was looking forward to performing in your city, but due to a discrepancy between the local promoters and the production company, I was forced to cut short the set and stop the show midway.”
The singer added, “This isn’t fair to the fans who spend their hard-earned money to purchase that ticket, and it isn’t fair to the whole crew who pours their hearts into putting on these tours. We rehearse for weeks, plan for months, and travel tirelessly to bring you the best possible experience. The music industry is all about respect—respect for the fans as much as it is about respect for the artists and the support crew.”
“My management tried everything in their control to salvage the situation and ensure a smooth run. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, disappointment, and irritation caused by this sheer lack of management from the promoter’s end. We will make sure things are better managed in the future with a more competent promoter team that prioritizes a quality experience and understands that music and touring are serious business. I promise to return, and it’s going to be bigger, better, and bolder. Thanks for always being there and having my back. I love you all, Badshah,” concluded the singer.
Meanwhile, Badshah recently collaborated with Divine and Nikhita Gandhi for the track ‘O Sajna,’ which was released in March. The song, featuring lyrics by Badshah, Divine, Anand Bakshi, and Rajesh Roshan, with music production by Hiten, offered a unique blend of talents from the music industry.
