Up to 1,000 Indians aged 18 to 30 will be able to work and holiday in Australia for a year under the newly launched Australian working holiday maker program. India joined this program as part of the Australia-India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement, with visa applications starting from October 1, 2024.
