Former DU professor and disability rights activist G N Saibaba died from post-operative complications at a state-run hospital in Hyderabad after enduring prolonged imprisonment and inadequate medical care. The NGO NPRD linked his death to the exacerbation of his pre-existing health issues during his 10-year incarceration.
