Govinda was rushed to Criti Care Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai, on Tuesday after suffering an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound to his leg. The former Member of Parliament underwent emergency surgery, and doctors have confirmed that he is now out of danger and recovering well. After visiting Govinda, his close friend and former Maharashtra Legislative Council member Deepak Sawant spoke to the media outside the hospital.
