The ‘Power Star‘, Pawan Kalyan first met Anna Lezheneva in 2011 when the duo was working together in the film ‘Teen Maar’.During this time, Pawan Kalyan was going through a difficult phase in his personal life. He was dealing with a divorce with his second wife Renu Desai, whom he was in a new-term relationship with. However, fate had other plans for the Jana Sena Party (JSP) leader as he officially got a divorce from Renu in 2012. Meanwhile, Pawan and Anna grew closer, and roughly two years after meeting each other, they finally got married on September 20, 2013.
While Anna Lezheneva is a Russian former actress and Pawan Kalyan is a Telugu superstar, the couple accepted their cultural differences and lifestyles quite well. For the unversed, Anna Lezheneva is Pawan Kalyan’s third wife. He was earlier married to Nandini– which was an arranged marriage, but their marriage couldn’t survive the test of time. Meanwhile, he was in a live-in relationship with actress Renu Desai for a long time and the former couple even welcomed their first child together in 2004 out of wedlock. Pawan and Nandini divorced in 2008 and the actor then married Renu in 2009. Pawan and Renu welcomed their second child later, but in 2011 troubles started cropping up in their marriage. They officially got divorced in 2012.
Pawan Kalyan then married Anna in 2013.
In an earlier interview on Nandamuri Balakrishna’s chat show, Pawan Kalyan had opened up about his three marriages and divorces. “My first marriage was very conventional. It was arranged by elders. But not everything works out in a relationship. So, couples separate… Even the second time, whether a difference of opinion or something… maybe there was no consensus… it was a different set of circumstances. But when these people, I mean they keep harping on three weddings… I didn’t marry all the three at the same time. Neither do I live with all the three together. It didn’t work out for me with one person, I had to marry another. Also, it didn’t happen out of desire or infatuation, they just happened. It only involves pain,” Pawan Kalyan had said.
