A life-size statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was unveiled at Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) on his Mahaparinirvan Diwas, fulfilling a 20-year-old student demand. Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi and MDU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rajbir Singh led the ceremony, praising Ambedkar’s contributions to the Indian Constitution and social justice. Students celebrated the statue as a symbol of equality and inclusion.
